UMBRAGROUP announces the new Partnership!

The Group together with Mariangela Vacatello in the project "Ten colors for 10 sonatas"

UMBRAGROUP is proud to announce a partnership with Mariangela Vacatello, one of the most successful and internationally recognized Italian pianists, in the project "Ten colors for 10 sonatas", created in collaboration with Fazioli Pianoforti, Cidim (Italian National Music Committee) and the Accademia di Pinerolo.

Mariangela Vacatello, a pianist recognized for her curiosity and versatility in performance horizons, lives in Perugia and is currently one of the few pianists in the world and the only Italian to have performed the entire cycle of Scriabin's Sonatas, highlighting their performance and the performer. A project aimed not only at enthusiasts, but also at students who can better learn the composer's works.

The difficulty in playing it goes far beyond the piano technique, pushing into the depths of sounds and harmonies. This was precisely what Scriabin believed in and he was able to put into music his own vision of life, of Creation, of man's disappointments and of the strength that can make him rise beyond his limits. In this project the pianist also decided to highlight Scriabine’s use of color combinations with the various musical tones: for this very reason, in each piece she wears a different dress with colors that recall the luminous "scale and keyboard", designed by Scriabin himself.

"Ten colors for 10 sonatas" will be broadcast as an absolute preview on RAI 5 on January 22nd & 23rd and is aimed not only at enthusiasts, but also for students who, using their sight and not just their hearing, can “ learn” the composer's techniques better.
