New metallographic laboratory
Präzisionskugeln Eltmann offer its customers an ever faster and more efficient service.
Beginning this month, the new laboratory houses tools previously located in various plant departments which are necessary for materials analysis. Some of the devices have been recently purchased or completely overhauled to best meet today's accuracy requirements and documentation possibilities.
This new metallographic laboratory is a highly modern and effective facility for materials analysis. In addition to the usual laboratory activities, such as sample preparation, hardness measurement and optical microscopy, it can also determine the composition of the material, perform radiographic examinations (measurement of retained austenite), mechanical tests and heat treatments.
Präzisionskugeln Eltmann can now independently perform almost all the examinations required for incoming inspections, releases and damage analyzes.
