Galvanizing processes

We have a department dedicated exclusively to electrolytic and chemical processes which handles the high-quality galvanization of ferrous alloys.

Galvanization is of fundamental importance for the corrosion-resistance of metals and, for certain specific types of processes, for wear-resistance.
The proper execution of the processes is guaranteed by a series of in-house validation tests, with attention paid to hydrogen embrittlement, corrosion resistance, and coating adhesion.
A set of in-house procedures, developed to meet specific customer needs, has been designed to perform the following processes:

  • Chrome plating
  • Passivation
  • Phosphating
  • Cadmium plating
  • Silver plating
  • Copper plating
  • Anodization
  • Burnishing
  • Shot peening
  • Zn-Ni plating.

Certified processes

All processes are carried out in compliance with the most stringent international specifications.
