UMBRA Cuscinetti S.p.A. started to operate its aftermarket services for aerospace in 1996. The division dealing with aftermarket services (maintenance and distribution) is located in our production plant in Foligno (Italy).
Though a combination of OEM service and experience, our engineers are able to provide customers with exceptional technical support. Our Foligno team works in close contact with the aftermarket centre located in UMBRA Cuscinetti Inc., a group company based in Everett, WA, in the United States and this close relationship offers an opportunity for our customers to work with the facility they consider most convenient. Our Repair Station has the support of multilingual technicians and a particularly well-trained logistics team to ensure that customer needs are fully understood and met in time.
Thanks to more than thirty years of experience in ball screw design and production, we are now the largest ball screw maintenance center in the world. In order to meet ever-shorter turnaround times and ensure competitive prices with high-quality products and services, our Aftermarket division has an independent and dedicated workforce and structures. This choice of organization, which has required major capital expenditure, has allowed times between operations to be minimized.
Our highly-qualified staff are trained particularly to work on ball screws and associated reduction unit motors for both civil and military applications. Our repair capacity includes all the main programs and applications.
In order to ensure immediate availability of OEM spares, dedicated warehouses for the exclusive use of the aftermarket division are available. Strategic warehouses in Asia, Europe and the United States allow us to meet any AOG request (AOG Desk: +39 335 770 0079). Our customers can count on our availability, 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year.
