Pinion gears for civil aviation: reliability under pressure
A three decade-long experience in producing sector gears for Boeing has inspired UMBRAGROUP to successfully apply its know-how to the making of pinion gears, to complete its offering. These gears work coupled with sectors and are traditionally made in steel that is first case-hardened and then cadmium plated. With the view to continuous improvement that distinguishes us, in 2005 we developed a dedicated technology to produce Cronidur-30 stainless steel pinion gears.
