Wells for drinking water
In Burkina Faso, drought brings thousands of families to their knees, preventing them from meeting such primary needs as feeding themselves. UMBRAGROUP sought to help three small local villages by building wells for drinking water: one in the village of Samboughe, presented on January 29th, 2012, and another in the village of Dakiegre, built and presented in April of 2012. The last, presented in May of 2013, was built in the village of Saaba, near Ouagadougou. The project was run in cooperation with Gruppo Missionario Umbertide and La Gomena ONLUS.
