Umbra acme screws currently power the engine thrust reverse systems on Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier and Mitsubishi aircraft platforms, and this business unit is one of Umbra’s fastest growing segments in the aerospace group. Like Umbra’s ballscrew sector, acme screw design and production also benefit from Umbra’s deep vertical integration.
